I have windows xp. I am know there is way to keep your personal running. How can i make it so that my personal will not hibernate/standby while i am doing a virus scan?
I have to restart all time and it bugs me to have to work on the personal while doing it because it slows it down.
What settings do i go into to keep my personal from going to standby while doing a scan?
I merely purchased a untried personal and installed iTunes. My songs are from limewire and I do not know how to transfer libraries.
Someone told me that you can save the songs on a flashdrive from the old personal and then load them on to the untried computer. But I deleted my iTunes account on the old personal so today I do not know what to do.
I have been given a Dell personal from my sister. However, her former husband set up his account on this personal (says he can’t recollect the password), making himself the only administrator. Now, I can’t add any programs ( like iTunes), nor can I delete anything. How can I clear his passwords from this computer, and make myself the administrator? I am afraid that I shall have to delete everything, then start again (ugh!) That would mean buying untried programs, installing them and so on. Any ideas?
